Meet The Baker
Hi! I'm Sarah McFarlane: owner of Mirabelly's Bakeshop, a home bakery based out of Angus, Ontario.

My baking journey began in 2020 while my husband (Kevin) and I were planning our DIY pandemic wedding, which of course included making our own wedding cake! While experimenting with cake flavours and designs, I discovered how much I enjoy creative expression through food...and I've been hooked ever since! Cakes led to cupcakes, then sugar cookies and macarons - all equally as fun to make as they are delicious!
Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my handmade treats brighten someone else's day! I absolutely love creating edible art for any occasion, and I look forward to doing this for you when we officially open in Fall 2024!
Mirabelly's would not be possible without my husband. Not only has he supported my vision all along the way, he also makes all of our cake toppers and cookie cutters!
As for the bakery's name: "Mirabelly" is my daughter's nickname. It makes me smile and reminds me not to take life too seriously!
